Your Lab Assistants:
Angela Kasmala is a vegetarian/vegan and raw food chef who specializes in nutrition and meal planning for a wide variety of dietary needs. After witnessing a long history of health problems within her family, she sought out the information needed to create change for them, herself and others. She obtained her technical skills at Schoolcraft’s Culinary Arts program, but found her true passion through independent study, working in various health-food stores, and taking classes with groups like the Creative Health Institute. Since then she has assisted numerous families and individuals as a personal chef and nutritionist. Angela is driven by a desire to improve the health and well being of the Detroit community through her food and cooking classes. This summer she is debuting the Source 2 Soul line of all-natural wheat-free and sugar-free sauces, dressings and energy bars.
